Announcing New and Renewed Partnerships with Community-Based Organizations in New York City
We are proud to welcome Brooklyn Children’s Museum and Urban Design Forum as new grantee partners of the Kornfeld Foundation.
Brooklyn Children’s Museum ignites curiosity and celebrates communities through hands-on learning, cultural education, and joyful experiences for children, families, and caregivers across Brooklyn and NYC.
Urban Design Forum’s Local Center – in partnership with housing justice organization and Neighborhoods First Fund grantee ANHD – empowers communities to reimagine public spaces and advance equitable, community-led design.
Both organizations align deeply with our commitment to cultural education and participation, civic engagement, and neighborhood-based leadership. We have also renewed our support for the Popular Democracy’s Guardians of Democracy initiative, and for Make the Road New York, which continues to advocate for and protect immigrant communities while expanding into a new home for organizing, education, legal and health services, and policy innovation.
